How bout them Yankees?

Still have to finish my commission, but after that, I've decided what I'll paint next. Quite a few folks have been print requesting my Jarlaxle sketch, and since it's print quality is so horrible (I had to take a photo of it since the original is 18"x24"), I've decided to digitally colour it. Any advice on how to paint the skin of dark elves? I don't want to make him pitch black because well, I'd like to see his face.

I don't think I can finish Jarlaxle by Halloween, but next month, I am participating in NaNoWriMo!! Very excited! I've decided to do the background story of one of my characters from a current novel I'm working on. Even if I don't complete the project, at least I'll have accomplished something towards my novel-in-progress.

Wish I could take advantage of the free print special this week, but I gotta save money up for Christmas!! Can't wait for Christmas commercials and decorations! I've noticed some folks turning their Christmas decoration lights on already, so I guess I'm not the only one who's anxious!
